What is ANBI?
ANBI is the Dutch abbreviation for «Algemeen Nut Beogende Instelling», equivalent in English to «Public Benefit Organisation» (PBO) and in Spanish to «Institución de Utilidad Pública». It is an official designation granted by the Dutch Tax Administration (Belastingdienst) to non-profit organisations that devote at least 90% of their activities to the general public interest. Donations to an ANBI may be tax-deductible for the donor.
Mission
The mission of Stichting Reïna Lupa is to contribute to the production and performance of musical activities, with attention to both historical and contemporary music. The foundation supports and promotes two professional ensembles, Capella Sancta Maria and Reïna Lupa, which aim to inspire and engage a broad and diverse audience through high-quality performances.
Main activities
Musical performance
Organisation of concerts and other musical activities, both nationally and internationally.
Cultural collaboration
Establishing partnerships with other cultural institutions and artists to realise innovative projects and new musical productions.
Education and talent development
Offering workshops and educational sessions for amateur musicians and young professionals, in order to develop their musical skills and inspire them to reach their artistic potential.
Audience reach and diversity
Increasing the accessibility of classical and contemporary music for a broad and diverse audience, through both traditional concert formats and innovative forms of presentation.
Sources of income
The foundation generates income through:
- the organisation of musical performances and lectures (artistic fees and ticket sales);
- grants (public and private contributions);
- donations, inheritances, bequests and other gifts.
Use of resources
The foundation allocates its resources to expenses essential to carrying out its main activities, such as:
- fees for musicians and other performing artists;
- travel, transport and accommodation costs;
- rental of venues for rehearsals and concerts;
- promotion costs, including photography, (video) recordings, printed material, radio advertisements, web hosting and online campaigns (including social media);
- fees for advisory services (for example, grant applications);
- regular administrative costs, such as bank charges.
Asset management
The foundation holds a business bank account. Its assets consist exclusively of liquid funds and are not invested.

Remuneration policy
Board members receive no remuneration for their activities. They may only be reimbursed for expenses actually incurred, to the extent permitted by the legislation and regulations applicable to ANBI institutions.
